Oakland Catholic Crew Shines at the USRowing Pathways Development Camp!

Four Oakland Catholic rowers recently participated in the USRowing Pathways Development Camp, where they trained alongside some of the nation's top junior athletes. The camp provides an opportunity for rowers to develop their technical skills, build lasting friendships, and learn what it takes to compete at the highest level from Olympians, collegiate coaches, and elite junior coaches.

For one of our OC coaches, this experience was especially meaningful:

"Working with members of the OC Crew team at Pathways Development Camp was a true full-circle moment for me. Coaching alongside Amanda Polk, an Oakland Catholic graduate who inspired me as a young athlete and continues to mentor me as a coach, made this experience incredibly special. Our four OC athletes represented their team on a national stage with grit, resilience, enthusiasm, and joy. I'm so grateful to play a small role in their rowing journey and to give back to a program that has given me so much."

We are incredibly proud of our student-athletes for representing Oakland Catholic with excellence and thank our dedicated coaches for investing in the next generation of rowers.
