The Crew team is excited for another great season and is inviting anyone interested to give the sport a try! Rowing is fun, team-oriented, and provides an excellent workout. No prior experience is necessary—most team members are new to the sport when they join. This is a perfect opportunity to get involved, whether as a rower or a coxswain. We are striving to fill other boats. If you’re interested or have any questions, please reach out at crew@oaklandcatholic.org.

The OC Ultimate Team played their first two games of the season this week.  On Tuesday, they lost a tough one to Shadyside Academy, 14 to 4, but showed signs of good things to come from both the leadership of the veteran players and the athleticism of the new players.  On Thursday, they took those skills to the next level with a solid 10 to 8 victory over Fox Chapel, getting all 10 goals off the arm of Senior Captain Catherine McVicker.  The Eagles are set to play two home games this  week, with Senior Recognition Night planned for Thursday's game. The location is John (Baldy) McGrane Memorial Field just up the hill from the corner of 46th and Butler in Lawrenceville. Starting around 4:00pm.
